July 2026 Astrology: The Barbault Basket

2026 is a YEAR of rare astrology. The Saturn Neptune Conjunction at 0 Aries (the last time it happened at 0 Aries was in 4361 BC!!)

Now in July we have another rare line up of planets making an aspect pattern we call a bucket. It’s actually called the Barbault Basket, so let’s introduce astrologer Andre Barbault who it’s named after and understand why.

Who is Andre Barbault

Andre Barbault was a french Astrologer famous for his mundane (world astrology) predictions.

He used astrology and astrological patterns to predict events in the future. He noticed clustered outer planets often correlated with crisis and where they were connected by aspect but spread out he noticed more of an expansion. Here’s some of his most famous predictions:

• In 1955 he predicted a major restructuring around the Kremlin for around 1989. The Berlin Wall came down 34 years later, right on schedule.

• In 2011 he wrote that the period 2020 to 2021 could bring a pandemic, based on the lowest reading of his planetary cycle index this century.

He passed away in 2019 a few months before the 2020 pandemic so never got to see that prediction himself.

Barbault’s Prediction for July 2026 Astrology

In his book Planetary Cycles: Mundane Astrology:, Andre Barbault wrote the following:

“it is the most benefic configuration of the century and its interplanetary partnership will work for the best in a splendid relaunch of civilisation. It contains a harmonious relationship between primordial opposites, the coming together, the external and the internal, the rational and spiritual, the mind and the soul, human beings surpassing themselves, while experiencing themselves at a higher level.”

Inner technology, outer technology

What I love is seeing what Barbault's "primordial opposites" actually are. “The rational and the spiritual, the external and the internal.” I only just came upon this and yet it’s the thing I’ve been writing about since Pluto went into Aquarius and that the more the outer technology gets bigger, our inner technology needs to equally expand to match it. OSHO famously spoke about this. I remember hearing a recording of him talking about this when I was at an ashram in India. Osho said that if the Consciousness of a civilisation grows slower than it’s technology, that’s the end of the civilisation. Technology can be shared rapidly. One person or a few people invent something extraordinary, and can share it with the world quickly - just look at the Internet and AI!! Yet with Consciousness, that is NOT something that can be shared. Our inner technology must be developed by each individual. No one else can do it for you. This is THE time for intuition, our high senses, our capacity to perceive and heal and know. You’’ll notice the ‘basket’ aspect pattern shape made up of blue harmonious trines and sextiles.

Also see how many planets are at 4 degrees? On the 19th July the date I pulled this chart for even the Moon is at 4 degrees!

15th July there is an exact Sextile between Uranus and Neptune (Uranus and Neptune were conjunct in 1993 which started or “seeded” this cycle. This was the birth of the internet (and modern rave culture!) Think Neptune is mystical and going viral. Uranus is technology, rebellion and innovation.

18th July there is an exact trine Pluto and Uranus exact for the first of five times… connected to paranormal, supernatural. This cycle started or seeded in mid 60’s 65/66.  I’ve written about the Uranus Pluto Trine HERE.

19th July the moon at 4 degrees ‘activates’ the aspect pattern, and creates a grand trine with Pluto and Uranus, and a mystic rectangle with Pluto, Neptune and Jupiter.

20th July Pluto Jupiter opposition is exact. Jupiter and Pluto in aspect together can be related to wealth and money both on the ‘good’ side but also showing inequality. Jupiter has moved into Leo very recently, and a shadow side of that can be greed and entitlement, but equally the higher side is more heart centred and leading from the heart.

21st July Exact sextile Jupiter and Uranus. Both this planets in mythology relate to ‘sky gods’ and in the past has been associated with new discoveries….

There will be another ‘basket’ formation in June 2027 at 6 but the asteroid Ceres, will take the place of Jupiter in forming the basket aspect pattern.

So what do you do with a window like this?

Whilst click bait astrology will have you thinking the world will change in one day it likely won’t. HOWEVER you and I can individually work on our inner technology, our meditation, our self empowerment, our intuition, even how we use astrology. This is HUGE. Don’t be disheartened if the whole world doesn’t change overnight, but each of us stepping more deeply into bridging our human and being aspects and the outer and inner technology aspects IS the change that will leap us into the better times that are ahead. We are all the bridge. Consciousness precedes matter. So the more we work on our inner bridges, the more the outer material world will follow.
