Working with the Aquarius/Leo Eclipse Series

In this eclipse series we’re being asked to learning into the highest form individuation and community and technology…

In 2026 we are between 2 eclipse stories (Pisces and Virgo) and we begin Aquarius and Leo.

The North Node is in Aquarius. So this is where we are collectively and individually being asked and being helped to embody and create growth in the highest healthiest aspects of Aquarius.

Individuation. Community. Technology are huge themes I see where there really is so much potential for growth.

Understanding the North and South Nodes

In astrology, the North Node represents the qualities we’re being asked to grow into—the energy we need to reach for. The South Node, on the other hand, shows us the habits, beliefs, and patterns we need to release.

With the North Node in Aquarius, we’re being called to:

  • Cultivate Healthy Individuation. We’re not all here to be the same or follow a cookie-cutter life in anyway. Let go of social conditioning that you must be x,y,z by x,y,z time. Your interests, appearance, career path, relationships and life path are all unique to you.

  • Community. Aquarius is about the people. It’s about Humanitarianism and Philanthropy. How can we create a society that is fair for ALL, not just a select few. Power to the people.

  • Technology. Aquarius is about the future and technology. The North Node here is about how can technology help us for the greater good. For our earth, the environment and people.

And with the South Node in Leo, we’re being encouraged to let go of:

  • Self-centered leadership

  • Performing for approval

  • Attachment to being special or “chosen”

  • Drama, comparison, and ego stories

This axis is really about balance. How can we lean into our individuation and work together, without needing to feed off attention, constant approval, creating drama or have leaders that make it too much about their own gains.

Eclipses are like cosmic plot twists, meaning they bring sudden shifts, unexpected events, and pivotal moments that can realign us with our soul path. But not every eclipse is life-changing for everyone.

Here’s what to remember about eclipses:

  • They influence us collectively and individually.

  • Their impact is stronger if they touch a personal planet or angle (like your Ascendant or Midheaven).

  • Eclipses come in series, telling a bigger story over several years. Each one adds a new chapter, helping us course-correct towards our soul’s true path.

Zooming Out: The Bigger Eclipse Story

Astrology on social media can feel hyper-focused on each new or full moon, but with eclipses, it’s so much more powerful to zoom out and see the bigger picture.

The last time we had North Node eclipses in Aquarius was 2008–2009, and with the North Node in Leo it was 2017-19. Reflecting on these periods can help us understand the themes coming back around now.

Take a moment to consider:

  • What was unfolding in your life during these times?

  • Do any patterns or lessons feel like they’re resurfacing?

Eclipses are opportunities to revisit and rework the themes that have been playing out in our lives.
