Spiritual Nutrition for Scorpio Season

Scorpio Season offers us depth, alchemy and transmutation. It’s not afraid of the ‘underworld’ of our wounds and hidden parts of our psyche.

As Spiritual Nutrition is about nourishing the ‘invisible’ aspects of us and Scorpio is very much about what’s going on underneath the visible reality. It’s also about depth and transformation, working with the subconscious mind, our wounding, and also sexual energy. We’ll explore all these through the lens of Spiritual Nutrition and how we can support ourselves during this season.

Scorpio is ruled in modern astrology by the planet Pluto. The archetype of Pluto all about transmutation, death and rebirth. It’s often associated withe the god of the underworld Hades which could be seen to represent the parts of us that have been caste away, the hurt parts and the parts we believe are not good enough or not acceptable to ourself or others.

Scorpio season can be a really good time to do work that impact our subconscious mind and addresses our self limiting beliefs. Our conscious mind can read information and pick up things, but it’s only 5% of our mind. The 95% of our unconscious mind is where all the self limiting beliefs and coping mechanisms to trauma live. To access that we can use tools such as Yoga Nidra ( a meditation practice to help you access deeper states of consciousness and remember everything is within).

Since I trained with Dr Gabor Mate I’ve come to see trauma is really at the bottom of most things. The trauma of when our wholeness and completeness isn’t mirrored back to us, when we had to dissociate away from our essence as it felt too dangerous and it was ‘safer’ to ignore our intuition and listen to authority figures.

This happens to all of us in some way, whether big or small and why re-connecting to essence is very difficult for some people as there are trauma wounds in the way that need to be felt and healed first.

Scorpio rules our sexual organs too, our sexual life force energy. I practice that I will return to this month is ‘shaking’. If you’ve been to one of my @electronicmusicmeditations we shake our body before meditating to release traumas in our tissue and shake of stress and tension. The shaking also awakens our life force energy. Sexual energy and life force energy are the same - in sex the energy goes down, and in meditation we draw the energy up through meditation techniques.

This is a perfect time to consider mentoring with me to process self limiting beliefs and deepen your relationship with the divine within. I am trained in trauma informed psychotherapeutic approaches as well as years of spiritual psychology and meditation practices to help you find the best practice for you whatever stage at your life you’re moving through and creating.

What repressed parts or trauma are you sitting on that could be transmuted and alchemised into gold? We feel SO much lighter when we do this work and this season we have the energy in our favour to release the old and transform it.
